Dear world,

I hate school. A. Lot. I seriously wanted to quit school right now. Perhaps I'll be able to find a proper job with a reasonable pay with my Chinese grade of B3? Please.

Amir's surprise birthday party was awesome. We managed to make him all emo just before he arrived. He complained to Zak (Not me!) that everyone else left him alone on his birthday and that only Radya is taking him out.

Awwwwwww.

Venue was Marina Square's Seoul Garden. I think I'm Seoul Garden's official regular customer. Totally lost count of the times I've been there man.

It was meant to be a lunder (lunch+dinner, as Radya coined it). However, let's all blame D&T, shall we? We waited until 4-5 for the bird day boy to arrive and Radya didn't even inform me of the delay.

He said to meet at 3. I arrived at 3.15pm and thought I was the late one. It turned out, I was 2nd to arrive. Susu was first and we waited and waited and waited.

The boys were fashionably late, ironically.

I sat in between Tul and Kal for our supposed "lunder". Kal was being psycho then. His gf-to-be must have done something to him. I think.

And imagine the look on Amir's face when he stepped into Seoul Garden. Priceless. I hoped he was surprised to see us. After all, it was a "SURPRISE" birthday party. And I don't know where the "party" part comes in but who cares.

I only manage to capture a few pictures in my handphone. There are more pictures when Fi arrived later on during the fireworks display along with my new found friend, Benji. Believe it or not, we clicked instantly. I love new friends.

Lookie, Zak and Mir! Whooooooo. And Adli right at the corner. (Oh Adli has a thing for telling people whom I just met for the first time that I don't speak Malay because I take Chinese as my Mother Tongue. He told his parents during Hari Raya last year, Zak and his girlfriend. So.. weird, eh?)
Tul on the phone. He looks like a little boy. Sorry I don't know how to smile properly. I look like an idiot.
Tul being camera-shy. Look at his long, bony fingers! Crazy shit, I tell you. I think I look weird. I need a new nose and some botox. I think?
Alright folks, until Fi comes to her senses soon enough and sends me the rest of the pictures, I'll think about blogging again for the world to see. Aight?

Wow. Leona Lewis is singing on the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics, accompanied by Led Zepplin's Jimmy Page's killer guitar riffs.

I think that's really awesome.

Omg David Beckham's there too. Everyone cheered so loud when he came out. Like his some kind of God or something.

Such cool shit.

Omg the flame is about to go off. I'm saddened. :(

Oh to girls (and maybe guys) who think Phelps is hot, think again. Have you seen the way his large ears stick out from his head? Not hot at all. I do salivate over his nicely sculpted body. That I go for. Yummmmmm.

He's still an awesome Olympian though. Doubly yummmmmmm.

Ahh, I think the Olympic flame should continue to blaze. It's not fair. :(

Bye bye flame. We'll meet again in Great Britain in 2012.

I'm emo now. I want flame. Flame flame flame!

Games are officially over.

I think God's really happy with my MT results. I've been really lucky these past few days.

My mum bought me 3 new bras and they look so awesome I tell you. They're really cute and I'd show them to you but I don't want to upload pictures of my bras on my blog now, would I? Perhaps when I wear them to school or something, you can nicely ask for my permission to see, alright? Right.

I'm broke this month because I bought a coupla gifts for my mum's birthday present and it wasn't cheap. I also bought a new pair of really rad school shoes. Yes, with my own money. Well, my bro paid half of it, but I still paid. All in all, I only have left $10++ in my bank account right now and I can't withdraw because 1) Minimum amount allowed to withdraw is $20, 2) I would have no money to last me for the final days of August, 3) My mum would kill me if she found out I used up all my money before the end of the month.

So I brought whatever money I had left to school to survive me for however long it could last. And yesterday at 2.20pm, my dad called. He said he wanted to meet me for awhile and I was quite hesitant because 1) remedials was going to start in about 10mins and 2) my dad usually drags his time with me. Eventually, I agreed.

I dragged Jin, Haha, Naz, Tul and Kal along with me (Well, they were the kaypo ones who wanted to tag along!) to the school gate and everyone waited impatiently for my dad's arrival. They wanted to see how he looks like. Well for one I know, I doubt I bear any resemblance of him. End of story.

And guess what, my dad gave me money. Just when I thought I was going to walk around with a dry pocket, help came along. I was so happy, I literally skipped back to everyone and told them I was going to treat them and that I did.

Also, I'm officially MT-free as of now and forever more. my appeal was approved. Finally after 12 years (I learnt Chinese since I was in Kindergarten) of horrendous MT lessons, the wait is over. It's a done deal. I'm going to leave school with a B3 grade for my MT and I feel so great about it. My fate is sealed. At last.

Right now, I only have one more language paper to tackle. And damn, I'm so ready for it (Yeah, right?). Hell yeah baby.

:)

One of the reasons I go to school for, ironically.

"It's a Prime Prata Shop."

That's what is written on the signboard, so I guess their shop name is 5-worded.

I usually don't have lunch at 2pm because I think it's a complete waste of time.

Canteen's filled with filthy, smelly kids running around. Queues at the canteen stalls are always long and don't call me lazy. The canteen usually starts clearing at 2.25pm? When everyone's rushing back to class.

For me, I occupy my lunch times by sleeping. And it's pretty relieving, I must say.

After extra lessons/remedials/supplementaries, I usually get hungry. Most of the time, I'll just shrug it off and head home to eat.

But not now. For God sent us, It's a Prime Prata Shop.
Thank you.

Sooooo, yesterday. Az, Tim, Jin and I headed there to makan. Call it a double-date or what-have-you. We craved pratas and couldn't resist the temptations though our pockets were running really dry.

Who cares, right? One would do almost anything for pratas, right? Right!

Nyum nyum.

Az, as amusing as ever.Az, amused by his beloved bandung drink. Yummy, he said. Say hello to Tim, my new friend. *Waves. Check out my red Crumpler to Tim's right. Whoot.
Jin and Az, making fools out of themselves as usual. Sheesh.
Alright, prata rocks.

I'm glad my blood's partly Indian.

ALERT!

MAJOR BLONDE MOMENT AHEAD.
(Don't say I didn't warn you.)

Well, I'm not a blonde yet.

Anyhoo, here goes.

I got a...

Bfucking3 for my MT 'O' levels result.

And I'm not even half-chinese. I don't mean to brag, but I just can't help myself. Imagine having to fail for the past year and then you receive a B3 right smack in your face out of the blue.

Furthermore, especially me coming from a different race from 90% of you guys out there, I feel like I've really accomplished something almost impossible at this moment of my life and dare I say, I'm damned proud of myself.

I cried twice just now while on the phone with the grandmother and mother to deliver the good news. Sweet, sweet tears of joy.

Whoooooooooooooo.

Beat that all you suckas.

Most of me friends got B3 too, and whether they're satisfied with it or not, I'm so happy for them. Congratulations guys!

As to the school making those who didn't get a distinction retake MT paper, screw you. What's wrong with getting a B, C or even a D? We only had half a year to work on our MT and this is how you repay our efforts?

True that most of us didn't put in 110% of our best efforts but so what? We still have other subjects to juggle. I think that we should all look on the bright side, and you should be happy for us and not force us into retaking a paper we don't wish to.

Wtf.

Oh well, one paper down, 6 more to go.

In case you people are still clueless, I'm Malay by race and I take Chinese as my MT. Savvy?

Last but not least,

SCREW YOU JIN.

For the past 15 years, I've been a go-out-with-friends-on-National-Day-cause-it's-a-Public-holiday virgin. And why you ask me?

My biological mother shares the same birthday as Singapore. So it's either I spend time with her at home or out for dinner. And that's how it has been for the past 15 years.

Now, I'm 16. Whooooooooooo.

Finally this year, my friends took away that once untouchable virginity of mine, all at once. Namely, Fi, Kal, Mir, Rad, Mim, Ful and Tul.

Thanks yea guys for the very last minute sms (I received Fi's sms an hour before initial meeting time, still un-bathed and half-awake). As usual, arrived fashionably late and greeted by a sea of red-donned people from all walks of life.

Well, being the first-time out on National Day chick I was, I wore red only to find out the other 7 didn't. Semangat National Day la eh.

It was such an awesome night out.

Fiany thinks she's spiderman. You should have seen her poses while she attempted to take pictures with her SLR. Super hot I tell you. Should have been the model instead of the photographer.

I didn't know Rad brought his mat if not I could've brought my spiderman mat. It would've been so much cooler sitting on a spiderman mat.

Mim looked hot in his blue hoodie. Literally. Imagine elbowing your way through merciless crowds in a hoodie. How would you feel huh?

I love my mates. What would I do without them?

So here's a quick preview of what went on. And I've only got one picture with me at the moment.

Ch-check it out!

We cool, ain't we?

Wait up for more amazing pictures aight cause I ain't got 'em now.

SOAD has gotta be one of the most awesome bands ever. Their music is simply...godsent.

Their bass is heavy and so trance-like, I love it so much.

I think their music should be best listen when you're doing it. Seriously, their music pumps your blood like no tomorrow.

They should really come to Singapore to perform and I'll definitely be the first in line.

I'm totally awe-d.
